VARMBLIXT
Launch event - photography for IKEA Netherlands
IKEA and designer Sabine Marcelis launched the limited VARMBLIXT collection, which uniquely explores the function of light in the home. This collection includes lighting, glassware and rugs with striking shapes and warm colours. Marcelis, known for her glass designs, inspires with sculptural lamps and colourful glassware. Ikea Netherlands launched the collection during a private event in Rotterdam featuring its famous designer Sabine.

Store event - photography for IKEA Netherlands
IKEA started with Circular Workshops, to give longer life to their furniture. In select IKEA stores in the Netherlands, multiple workshops were organized in the ‘circular hub’ to explain how to upcycle and repair used IKEA furniture.

The article was about a large speed dating event that took place at the IKEA store in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The event, organized with a playful approach, attracted over 1,200 participants within two days of its announcement, with the maximum number of participants reached. The speed dating took place throughout the IKEA store, including intimate dates by candlelight in the restaurant and conversations on showroom beds. The goal of the event was to promote energy conservation in households by humorously highlighting that one household consumes less energy than two. The event aimed to bring singles together while encouraging energy-saving behaviors during the colder months in the Winter.
